Like to watch plays? Read on, theatre kid…
With a certain global pandemic taking over pretty much every aspect of our lives over the past year and a half, there hasn’t been much opportunity to see any sort of live performance. For those of us entranced with the performing arts, it’s been tough. But before you go off and give up on theatre, hold on! I have an opportunity for you.
At the end of the summer I had the opportunity to usher for Dream in High Park, a stage (in High Park, Toronto) which puts on all sorts of performances - from plays to concerts to live comedy.
The performance that I had the chance to see was called Is My Microphone On, a sort of experimental play about the youth perspective on climate change. It will be on until September 19th.
Until the end of September, you, too, can experience live performances once again! Upcoming performances include “Bat Night” and “Dusk Dances 2021”. Tickets become available two days before each performance and are between $10 and $30. Visit this link to learn more!
