ASSIGNMENT TO SCHOOLS

The board may divide its territory into such sub districts as are

necessary to determine the schools the pupils of its districts shall

attend.

A map, showing school attendance zones, shall be maintained in the

Central Office and shall be available at all times for public inspection.

Upon the request of any parent or guardian, or for reasons affecting

the best interests of the schools, the superintendent may transfer pupils

from one school to another within the county provided proper student-teacher ratios are maintained.

If a transfer is made at the request of a parent or guardian, the

parents or guardians are responsible for the transportation of student

if a regular bus route does not provide transportation from their designated

place to the school.

Any aggrieved person may appeal the decision of the superintendent

to the board, and the decision of the board shall be final.
