Adult Education

 

 

            Adult education shall be designed to meet the social, economic, recreational, cultural, educational and employment training and retraining needs of adults aged 16 and over who are not enrolled in a public school in Clay County.

            Adult education programs to be offered may include (1) adult basic education offered in conjunction with RESA III, (2) vocational and technical education (supplemental and preparatory), (3) consumer and homemaking, (4) training for new and expanding industry jobs, and (5) a GED instruction and testing program designed to meet the need of individuals seeking a General Education Diploma.
