Corporal Punishment
Corporal punishment shall not be used as a disciplinary measure in the public schools of Clay County.
The administration of the Clay County School System shall provide opportunities for the training of school personnel in alternatives to corporal punishment. Alternate methods may include (but are not limited to) withdrawal of privileges, denial of participation in extracurricular activities, detention, in-school suspension, and suspension.
