Interscholastic Athletics

Participation Requirements

            Students participating in secondary interscholastic athletics shall obtain a parent or guardian signature(s) on the following forms:

• 1. A Parental Consent Form.

  2. An Extra-Curricular Rules and Regulations contract regarding eligibility requirements related to the use of drugs, alcohol and tobacco; attendance at school and at practice; safety rules on extra-curricular trips; detention; vandalism; and suspensions. (It shall be the responsibility of the building principal to maintain a school policy defining disciplinary action for offenses related to the issues described herein).

  3. An Emergency Medical Care Consent form.

All secondary students participating in interscholastic athletics are required to be covered by a health insurance policy.
