FACULTY MEETINGS

            Faculty meetings are essential to efficient and effective school operation and often provide a mechanism for problem solving and input to the decision-making process.

            A minimum of one faculty meeting per month shall be held in each school. In addition to this, other meetings shall be scheduled when and if the need arises.

            The school principal shall play an important part in its organization, but the entire responsibility for the meeting should not be placed on the principal.

            All teachers shall attend faculty meetings unless excused beforehand by their principal.

            Faculty Senate meetings shall be held monthly for two hours in accordance to State Law 18-5A-5.
