Annual Operating Budget

            The Board will submit an annual budget of the state each year for approval.  The budget must be presented in the form required by the State Board and approved by the State Office of Finance.

            It shall be the responsibility of the county Superintendent to prepare the annual operating budget for submission to the County Board for revision and approval prior to submission to the State Board.  The County Board will adopt the budget after approval of the budget by the State Board of Education and of they levy estimate by the State Tax Commissioner.
