Local Purchasing

Allowance for Food Classes – Home Economics

Teachers of food classes shall buy groceries at community grocery stores. An account shall be opened at the store where purchases are made in the name of the Clay County Board of Education, per name of the teacher.

Invoices of purchases shall be submitted monthly to the financial secretary of the Board of Education. These invoices must be approved by the teacher and bear her signature, indicating her approval.

            Any purchase must be placed on a purchase order when submitted.
