Executive Sessions

            The Board may hold executive sessions for specific purposes on approval of the majority of members present and voting. Executive sessions shall be attended only by the members of the Board, the Superintendent, and any other persons designated by the Board. All matters discussed by the Board in executive session shall be regarded as confidential by all persons in attendance and shall not be divulged to the public. Nothing having the effect of regulation or policy, or action shall be decided in executive session.

            The executive committee of the Board shall also be permitted to hold closed sessions for purposes of discussing and recommending action to be taken on matters involving individual employees, security, and similar confidential topics
