Orientation

 

            It shall be the responsibility of the Superintendent of schools or his/her designated representative to conduct an annual orientation program for professional personnel regarding policies of the Board and such other topics as may be necessary for the effective operation and improvement of the Clay County Schools.

            The building principal or the immediate supervisor shall orient all teachers with the evaluation procedures and standards during the first two weeks of their assignment to their respective building or program.  Each teacher shall be advised as to who shall observe and evaluate his/her performance.  No formal observations shall take place until such orientation has been completed.
