Emergency Drills

Principals are directed to file separate statements at the time monthly summaries are returned to the Superintendent’s office, indicating the number of fire drills held during the month, and such statements are to be examined by the Superintendent. The Superintendent will take such action as he/she deems necessary to ensure compliance with the policy of at least three fire drills the first two weeks of school and at least two every month thereafter. These drills are to be unannounced.
