DISMISSAL PRECAUTIONS

Dismissal of School

No school shall be dismissed before the regular hour except with the knowledge and approval of the Superintendent's office. However, if conditions so warrant, operation of the school buses may be limited or suspended by the Superintendent in order to comply with reasonable standards of safety.

Schools shall not be closed for any cause without approval of the Superintendent. In cases of extreme emergency which may affect the safety and health of pupils, the principal shall use his/her best judgment in determining emergency action.
