Soliciations by Students

Fund Raising

 

 

Fund raising projects which involve students shall be limited to projects which benefit the school and are restricted in the following manner:

 

1.) No student below the sixth grade level shall be involved in fund raising activities which involve, or are likely to involve, door-to-door sales.

 

2.) No student, regardless of age, shall be permitted to sell junk foods while on the school premises or while on the school bus.

 

3.) No student, regardless of age, shall utilize time allotted for instruction to any fund raising activity. Fund raising activities include direct sales, phone solicitations, and the collection or tabulation of funds. (Exempted from this provision are vocational education sales which involve marketing objectives.)

 

The principal of each school shall be responsible for coordinating all fund raising activities and shall report funds received through normal school accounting procedures.
