Local/State Government Involvement in Project Planning

 

            The Board shall secure approval of the State Board of Education of plans for all new buildings and/or additions to existing buildings in accordance with State Board policies.  Plans should meet the standards of the state Fire Marshal and the State Health Department.

            Building plans shall also be submitted for approval by the local fire department and shall meet the zoning requirements and building codes of the county and the city/town in which the building will be located.
