As Doreen continues her superhero career, each defeat is reinterpreted through her hallucinations as a glorious win. Her delusional mind constructs elaborate scenarios where she unseats cosmic villains, saves civilians, and earns the admiration of her peers. To the outside world, however, Doreen is a tragic figure, constantly defeated but blissfully unaware.
History
After a disastrous first encounter with Doctor Doom, Doreen hallucinated that she not only defeated him but also utterly humiliated him. In reality, her current crop of squirrels were all nearly killed, requiring Iron Man to save her, but in her mind, she saw herself as the true hero of the day. This hallucination became her first "victory," setting the stage for future delusions.
Personality and Hallucinations:
Doreen experiences detailed and triumphant hallucinations following each battle, where she sees herself as the victor, celebrated by friends, allies, and even the public. These hallucinations are so real to her that she is completely unaware of the actual outcomes, where she has been defeated or even narrowly escaped with her life.
In her mind, she recalls epic victories over villains like Doctor Doom, whom she "defeated" in a spectacular showdown. She "remembers" receiving accolades from the Avengers and recognition as one of the greatest heroes of her time. Each of these false memories reinforces her delusion, making it impossible for her to accept any other version of events.
