Description:
The hilt of the weapons is carved from saurian-fang ivory, and in the pommel is a kind of gem (carbuncle). The blade is long and jagged-edged and needle pointed shaft of pure, glittering diamond. The blade is being some four feet in length, it makes quite a lot of diamond, said by legend to be enough to ransom eleven emperors. While this is an exaggeration, the blade is still worth a considerable amount.
Current Location: The sword is currently stuck in the slimy fungus of the Garden of Death located on the fifth level of the Dungeon.
Abilities:
It never rusts or wears. Its only other property is the carbuncle’s ability to light up in the dark, which can be extremely useful to the PCs right now.
Curse:
Although it is crafted from precious metals, the blade is badly made. Its eight pounds of weight is considerably unbalanced and the blade is slightly bent. Anyone wielding the swords suffers a -2 to strike and -1D6 to damage.
