Cookies and Creamsicles

    • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature

    • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

    • 1 teaspoon vanilla

    • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

    • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream

    • 1 teaspoon vodka (optional)

    • Oreo cookies (about 18 cookies), roughly chopped

In a bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Add the nutmeg, cream and vodka, and beat until thick, soft peaks form. Fold in the Oreos.

Scoop the mixture into popsicle molds, banging the mold on the counter to settle the mixture into the bottom of the molds so you can fill them full. Insert popsicle sticks and freeze until solid, about 4-6 hours.

Yields about 12 creamsicles
