Coach Sulivan is the Head coach for the Baseball team at Fruita monument. Many of the Young players look up to Mr. Sullivan as a mentor through the sport. Not only does coach Sullivan coach. When he doesn't have his baseball cap on, he's teaching students at the 8/9.
“Sullivan Likes to have a relationship with his players, He treats the players like humans and jokes around with us. He is patient with us and doesn't yell at us a lot.” Varsity Player Gavin Cardoza. Gavin admires Sullivan greatly.
“I love Sullivan. He's a good teacher. And I love the relationship he has with everyone of the players individually, I've had him both years I've been at the 8/9.” Freshman player Sam Graves, Sam and Mr. Sullivan have built a relationship in his past two years at the school.
Coach Sullivan is known for shaping young successful athletes. Throughout his coaching career at the high school, He has produced an athlete that has offers or has committed to a college every year. Not only does he make great players. He as well makes them respectful young men that are passionate about the sport.
“I played baseball from 6 years old to 22 years old. Playing Made me wanna coach, I have been a coach at fruita for 16 years. I admire all of my players for a variety of reasons, and love their commitment to the team. Throughout the season Grand Junction and Palisade have been the biggest challenge to beat, and they really worked the boys throughout the season.” Casey Sullivan varsity head baseball coach enjoys coaching.
