Fruita’s varsity team hasn't lost to Grand Junction since the 2014 season, meaning the Wildcat seniors have never lost to their bitter rival in their high school career. Anytime you have crosstown teams like that the kids know well, you're gonna have both teams hyped up and ready to go.

Also the emotional well-being of an individual or the entire community. Sometimes an aggressive action by the opposite team turns to hate and that's when it can come to the point of a team rivalry
A fan is someone who actually dedicates part of their time to support and cheer on the team he or she follows, even on the days their team does not perform its best, because not every team can win them all. Fans and teams can show aggressiveness toward the rival team almost to the point of being disrespectful.
Sports rivalry games are what fans and even some of the athletes playing the sports live for and wait the long season just to play in that one game.
