Imagine you are walking through the halls of your school and seeing people fighting and beating each other up out of the blue. Having people yelling and recording the fight, not knowing what to do about it but watching and recording. You would be overwhelmed and wouldn’t know what to do in that type of situation. This is just an example of why school fights are harmful.
School fights are harmful because first, it doesn't leave a good impression on the school. You don’t wanna have a bad impression on the school because then that makes people not want to go to that school and then if that happened there wouldn't be any kids to have teachers teach and the teachers wouldn't make any money so therefore they wouldn't have a consistent job.
School fights are detrimental to kids at our school. People would get punished for fighting and hurting other students if they started a fight. A lot of kids will either get ISS or OSS depending on what happened and how bad it was they may get lunch detention ect. Some students could even get charged for assault and go to juvie.
Kids who are harming others should be punished for their behaviors and their bad actions. Some kids should get punished like either ISS or OSS, lunch detention, expelled, or the principal's office. A suspension would probably be the best and most persistent option for a school fight. There may be other options too but you would hope that a suspension would help.
Overall, these are the reasons why fights at school are harmful, and we need to do something to fix it and lower the rates of them, especially at the Fruita 8-9
