At the tennis court by Fruita 8/9, there has been a doughnut stand with a lady giving out doughnuts to children. They always come on Fridays where many kids come and get a good sweet treat in the mornings.
The doughnut lady can be identified as Colleen. Colleen doesn't work at a church, but she does go to a church, sadly she didn't want this information where she goes to be in public so we are keeping it anonymous. She says, “I dont sell these donuts but I give them away for a prayer, so when I go to church I pray for all of the kids who want me to pray for them.”
No ones sure why she does this but some people think that she does it because it makes her feel good doing some good for the students. Coleen usually comes on Fridays around 7am-8am. She is seen around this time for students to enjoy a delicious morning breakfast.
Coleen says, “ I usually come around this time so anyone can come and grab a donut because school starts at 8am.” She goes to church on Sundays so we are guessing that's why she does it on Fridays only. She likes to do it in the middle so that 8/9 students and Fruita High School can come over.
So this leads us with the questions, When will she run out of donuts, where does she get her doughnut, and why does she give away doughnuts for a prayer?
