This month the boys basketball season will start. Starting from October 5th, 2023, the boys' basketball team of Fruita's 8th grade will start practicing for their upcoming games. On October 4th, 2023, the players will receive a notification about the team they will be playing for.
The first game will be against West Middle School on Thursday, October 19th, 2023, at 3:45 PM, at Fruita 8/9 school. The end result was all teams winning except for team B.
A team player Reece Bovee has played basketball for six years and is passionate about both the entertainment and competitive aspects of the sport. He aspires to pursue a career in the NBA. He plays in Blackout basketball the out of school basketball team and would love to do basketball throughout his whole life.
Similarly, Gavin Adams has been playing basketball for three years. Currently, Gavin Adams is more focused on advancing to the team and eventually starting playing in the NBA. He's had a great start this year being point guard for his team scoring an average of about 16 points per game.
If Reece Bovee and Gavin Adams are recruited and make it to the team, they could potentially earn a yearly salary of $40,806,300. This would provide them with the financial means to live the life they desire and acquire all the things they want. Along with the ability to play the sport they love most.
These are just two of the many kids who love basketball at the Fruita 8-9, go support them all by going to their games. We look forward to seeing how the boys play this season and will be proud no matter what.
