Mrs Lavadie also expresses the challenges and devotion like being on time and practicing in your own time things like that you have to have to be a part of a professional organization. In past years, the concerts have played lots of arrangements of Mozart Beethoven, Rick Monanufh, Lenard Bernstien, Hector Berlioz. The orchestra has been around since 1978 and has been through 45 years worth of concert music. This season their playing arrangements of Modest Mussorgsky, Rimsky-Korsakov-Night on Bald Mountain. Over the years they've played multiple songs by Modest Mussorgsky, according to Cameron Honnen. He plays Bass trombone in the symphony orchestra; he says they have played many songs by Mussorgsky in the past.
Gretchen Gardener, a violinist in the 8th-grade orchestra, is joining the symphony when she's older. According to her, what inspires her to play is “...good learning experience and it can provide you with great opportunities in the future,”. Starting an orchestra or just any instrument right now at a young age is very beneficial and you would be way more likely to be in a professional group later in life.
