Have you ever sat in school and the teacher says, “Assigned seats tomorrow”... Well the assigned seats are really terrible. It takes away the concept of trying to make connections with other people. Other people may think that assigned seats are great so you can learn and not talk but that's the complete opposite. Smart people choose to do their work but they still can sit and be with their friends or new people.
A student from the Fruita 8/9, 9th grade Sam Graves states, “I've never liked assigned seats and I never will. They just make me mad.” Personally I don't get upset with having assigned seats because it doesn't bother me anyway. Another student from the Fruita 8/9, 9th grade Clark James has a different opinion, “Honestly assigned seats really don't bother me because it's the teacher's choice. Plus it helps me pay attention to my work and to keep my grades up.” When having assigned seats it is better for yourself to focus on what you need to get done. As Clark was saying.
Having assigned seats can be a good thing for the teachers… But never for the kids. We like to talk and hang out with our friends. People should have time like study halls or even at home to finish their work if they didn't finish in school. So, do assigned seats suck?
