School lunch
By: Elyce West
The school lunch is unappetizing and unpleasant. The food is often overcooked, or not cooked enough, unseasoned, and lacks nutritional value. The menu options are limited and monotonous. The poor quality of the food not only affects students' health and well-being but also undermines their focus and concentration in class.
The school cafeteria seems to lack variety in its menu offerings. They serve the same food without any noticeable changes. It can be boring for students who are looking for new and exciting meal options. It would be great if the school could consider diversifying the menu to cater to different tastes and preferences.
Kolton Johnston an 8th grader has shared his thoughts about the school lunch, saying, "I love the school lunch. It has a good flavor and is not too greasy. Although I have found hair in it a few times, it wasn't a frequent occurrence."
It's worth noting that when it comes to school lunch, there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Each child has his or her preferences and dietary requirements, and as such, it's important to offer a variety of healthy and tasty options to choose from.
By providing a diverse menu, schools can ensure that students are getting the nutrition they need while also catering to their tastes. After all, a child who is satisfied and energized by a well-balanced meal is more likely to focus and learn better in class.
Adreena Pixler was very certain about how she felt about school lunches, “I feel that the food is unseasoned, there are a lot of calories in the food and it's not good for you. I’ve found that there is a lot of hair in the food and there is hard stuff in the burgers and I’m not sure what the hard stuff in the food is.”
Based on the information you have just received, would you like to have lunch at school? The lunch menu includes a variety of not delicious stuff and not nutritious options and is prepared with the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
