The girls' basketball season is starting this month. Beginning November 27th, 2023, Fruita's 8th-grade girls' basketball team will start practice sessions for the upcoming games.
On December 1st, 2023, the players will play against West Middle School. This month, this 8th-grade girl's basketball team of Fruita will start practicing for their upcoming games.
The upcoming girls' basketball season is exciting, with Mrs. Willms leading the A team and Coach Ray taking charge of the B team. Mrs. Beach will be at the helm if a C team is formed.
It's worth mentioning that a few of the female basketball players from the previous season have opted for other sports this year. Nevertheless, the remaining players are eager to step up and demonstrate their skills on the court. With Mrs. Willms, Coach Ray, and potentially Mrs. Beach, these young athletes will have the guidance and support they need to succeed.
Alluar Green says, "I am fond of basketball because I enjoy the competitive nature of the sport and also because it was the first sport I ever played. I find it reassuring to know who my teammates are, and I am optimistic about making the A team, but I would still be content if I ended up making the B team."
As the 8th-grade girls gear up for their upcoming games, please send them our best wishes for success and victory. May their hard work, dedication, and teamwork pay off in every game they play.
