Kids will have different opinions on their favorite subjects based on their strengths and weaknesses. The worst core class you have to take would have to be algebra because it involves so many critical thinking skills. The elective that is the worst to take would be Spanish because learning all of the things in a second language takes more work to learn on top of trying to stay on top of English.
There are lots of students in Spanish who love it although some struggle with it. Kenna Celayeta, a freshman at Fruita 8/9 says, “Spanish is a fun class when you are good at remembering things and when you can pay attention for a long time. Although some of us who are less able to pay attention tend to struggle with this class.” I find these things to be the things I struggle with the most. I would also have to say the most challenging part is remembering everything that you learned that day as it is a second language to you. The one thing that she does to help you is that you're given the option of test corrections after every single test you take. The tests themselves are very difficult as they can be in English and Spanish.
Some people may have different opinions on which subject not to take when you get into your freshman year, including another freshman at Fruita 8/9. Develyn Coleman says, “If I had to tell someone which subject that I least recommend as a freshman it would be mythology. This class requires a lot of critical thinking which I struggle with.”
There are so many classes that you can take here and I got just a few responses. If you like lots of thinking these would be the classes for you. Although these classes are hard it is good information to know.
