Halloween is one of the coolest holidays. You get to dress up, go to haunted houses, watch scary movies and the weather is cold but not too cold. However, Halloween isn’t Halloween without trick or treating and candy. Here are some candies that you may want to hand out or try to get trick or treating.
One of the most sold halloween candies in America is “Reese's peanut butter cups,”. It is no surprise that this wonderful chocolate is in first place with creamy peanut butter in the middle with rich chocolate covering the outside.
The second most sold candy on Halloween is “M&M’s,”. M&M’s are multi-colored button-shaped chocolates, each of which has the letter "m" printed in lower case in white on one side. This candy consists of a candy shell surrounding a filling, which varies depending upon the variety of M&M's.

However, some people dislike both of these candies and prefer others. For example, Bella Miles thinks that, “Twizzlers are the best Halloween candy because they’re fun to peel apart and they're sweet but not too sweet.” She recommends this candy because they aren’t messy and are fun to eat.
Another student, Jaydon Tate, thinks that “Sour Patch Kids [are] the best candy because it is sweet and sour, its like I'm eating a kid,” she says, jokingly. She recommends this candy because they are really good.
8th grader Aliyah Romero’s favorite candy is Kit Kats because she likes, “the layers of wafers,”. She recommends Kit Kats because of the layers.
Everyone has their own opinion on what Halloween candy they prefer, but that shouldn’t stop you from going out and having fun trick or treating or just staying home and eating your favorite candy.
