Weather Changes in The Valley 

Spring time just rolled around and the weather has been fluctuating a bunch. Right now it's getting into the 65-70 degrees here in Grand Junction Colorado. Some people hate the spring because a lot of allergies come around during this season, and others LOVE it because it's finally time to wear shorts again! Spring is a season where sports outside start to come around and you can finally get that “summer” tan all the teenagers want. 

A 9th grader, Miles Mason an athlete, who goes to Fruita 8/9 states,“I love when spring comes around because I get to play Lacrosse. I also love when the weather starts to get warmer because although I like the winter, spring just gets me excited for summer." Miles says that he loves it when spring comes around because he gets to play a sport and he stays active. He also states that spring gets him really really excited for the summer because it's right around the corner.  Having one of the sports you play happen during spring is awesome because you usually get the nice sun out and can always 

A 9th grader, Addi Cutshall, states, “I'm really glad it's getting warmer, I just want it to be summer already.” Addi is just too ready for summer! She loves it when she sees that the weather will be over 70 degrees. 

“Hey Alexa, what's the weather like today?” “Today the weather will be 76 degrees and the lowest temperature will be 65 degrees.” Springtime has arrived when alexa says a high number in the 70’s. When you start to smell fresh flowers, see the sun shine, look out your window and you see green fresh grass growing. Weather is changing and this time it's a good season coming up instead of cold, icy snow.
