The Grill and Chill is coming up on May 14th and it’s a great way to hang out with friends and get to know more people. It’s an annual event that happens every year at the Fruita 8/9 and this will sadly be the last year that you’ll get to enjoy it. It’s a good time to sign your yearbooks and hang out. It’s a good event to end the school year!
One of the Fruita 8/9 teachers, Ms Blevens, a Biology teacher, has been running the Grill and Chill for several years and is continuing this year. Ms. Blevens says “ The event will be happening on May 14th. We are on a special schedule that day so it’ll begin around 12:30. There will be lots of things to do including yearbook signing, eating lunch outside, games, dunk tank, slip and slide, basketball, and concessions.” The Grill and Chill is a fun way to get your yearbook signed and chill with your friends to celebrate a good school year.
Fruita 8/9 school highly encourages students to attend this event since it’s the last one you’ll probably be able to participate in. Many teachers work hard to put this event together so students can have fun before the school year ends with all our friends. And who doesn’t want to see your favorite teachers get dunked? We all hope to see you there!
