Elyza Willms-8th grade boys and girls Basketball/Track Coach

This year Elyza Willms will be coaching the girls and boys basketball teams. She states, “I coach 8th grade boys and girls basketball, and track.” We also asked “Why do you choose to coach this sport?” And she replied with, “I've been coaching basketball now for over 20 years. I've played basketball since I was 7 years old; I played in college. Basketball is a passion and all of the lessons and morals I've learned along the way are important for others to learn.” 

Elyza Willms is also our school Librarian/Media Specialist. She stated, “I enjoy playing pickleball, biking, working out, golfing, crafting, reading, quilting, and playing with my dogs! And of course spending time with my family.” We had also asked Elyza Willms what she was looking forward to this upcoming season and her response was, “I'm looking forward to working with a good group of kids that enjoy playing basketball and running track.” Our last question for Elyza Willms was “How many years have you been coaching this sport?” and she said, “I've coached basketball for over 20 years and track for 5 years.” If you are interested in joining the track team or girls basketball they start on these days.
