Here's what to expect this week in class:

Poetry Teaching Presentations:

We will continue these this week, with these groups teaching us on these days:

• • Groups 4 & 5 on Monday

  • Groups 6 & 9 on Tuesday

  • Groups 7 & 8 on Wednesday.

Reading and Discussing Poetry:

We will continue to discuss poems from the Renaissance next week, focusing on the use of language and figurative devices and the development of theme.

Reading and Discussing Hamlet:

We will wrap up act one of Hamlet and view that portion of the play before starting act two.

Literature Circles:

Keep reading your books for lit. circles. If you need role sheets, they are in a previous post on this page. Groups meet this week on Tuesday and Friday.

Renaissance Narrative Essay: What does it mean to be human?

Directions are posted below. Please bring a draft to class next Wednesday, October 28.

Vocabulary:
