American Literature for January 22-25

Here's a quick look at the week ahead:

• We began work on Hero's Journey story boards last Friday and will continue those on Tuesday, hoping to wrap them up by the end of the period.

• We have one short story left to read in this unit: "A Way's Wait" by Ernest Hemingway. We will follow it up with a short analysis assignment, focused on the impact of the point-of-view from which the story is told.

• We should be ready for our test over short stories on Friday or Monday. I'll let you know by Wednesday which day that test will be.
