Here's a quick look at what we'll be doing this week:
We will continue with vocabulary, moving on to unit 9, which will probably be our next to last unit. Please follow the usual schedule for completion of vocabulary homework.
Monday--Choosing the Right Word (aka "Circly Word")
Tuesday--Synonyms and Antonyms
Wednesday--Choosing the Right Word
Thursday--Study for this Friday's vocabulary quiz

On Monday we will self-edit research papers in class as I walk students through a structured look at their papers. Please be sure you have access to an electronic copy of your paper for revision and editing.
Research papers should be submitted to www.turnitin.com by midnight on Tuesday, April 26. DO NOT submit rough drafts--only final copies.
We will introduce Wuthering Heights this week and complete the first reading assignment by Friday. You will receive a reading schedule for the book on Tuesday. If you want to borrow a copy, I'll check one out to you Tuesday. If you'd like your own, please get it ASAP. If you prefer an electronic text for your phone or tablet, here is a link to one:
