AP Lit. for August 5-9, 2019

Here's a quick overview and some reminders for the coming week:

***Please buy a vocabulary book by next Monday if you plan to get one. Let me know if you want to check one out (and not write in it) instead.***

***Our assessment over Pride and Prejudice is next Monday.

This week, we will begin some routines that we will work with throughout the semester:

• • We will begin vocabulary, making it a warm-up at the start of most class periods. This week we will work with unit one, culminating in a vocabulary quiz on Friday.

  • Most Mondays will also find us completing a practice multiple choice section from a released exam.

  • Most Wednesdays will find us completing a timed writing, again based on a released topic from a previous exam, or working on revising or analyzing a previous writing you have completed.

The rest of our time this week will be devoted to various analysis activities related to A Thousand Splendid Suns.
