American Literature for August 13-17

Here's an overview of the week ahead:

We will continue to work toward building a definition of the American Dream this week, reading another excerpt from a speech by FDR, viewing images related to that speech, viewing The Pursuit of Happyness (sic) and reading several poems related to the American Dream.
Our vocabulary quiz will be on Wednesday. See a previous post for a Quizlet that will help you review. We'll do one more activity related to the words in class on Tuesday as well.
