American Literature for Dec. 12-16

Here's what to expect in class this week:

We are done with vocabulary. If you borrowed a book, please return it to me or Mrs. Thrash.

Instead of vocabulary, we will focus for the next few days on some grammar rules using GrammarBytes, the same online tool we used to review parallel structure. We will include a few items from this on our test over The Great Gatsby next Tuesday. Here's a link to the exercise:

The Great Gatsby

We will continue to read, discuss, and view The Great Gatsby in class this week.

Much of our reading will be done in class, but you may be asked to finish a chapter for homework. You can find a link to the novel below, as well as a link to audio of the book.
