***Vocabulary Quiz for words from "A Rose for Emily" on Tuesday. See previous post for words.
We will start the week reviewing vocabulary via some friendly competition with Kahoot as students prepare for Tuesday's vocabulary quiz. We will also finish our discussion of "A Rose for Emily," focusing on the mixed up chronology of the story and what the story has to say about the past.
Our final short story for the unit will be Ernest Hemingway's "A Day's Wait." Following this story, students will write a brief narrative that changes the point-of-view from which the story is told.
