Here's an Overview of the Week Ahead:

***If you're looking for the answers to our crossword puzzle, oops! When I went to post them here, I realized that the puzzle is saved on a computer at school and is inaccessible from home. I will gladly answer questions tomorrow about anything you are unsure of.

On Monday we will have our assessment over acts III and IV of The Crucible. The format is essentially the same as the acts I and II assessment.

On Tuesday, we will complete a followup activity for The Crucible, focused on the real history of the witch trials and also on what Arthur Miller was really writing about when he wrote this play in the 1950s.

On Wednesday we will introduce our next unit, focused on argument and the methods other authors (and we) can use to make more effective arguments.

Thursday is an early release day, and our class will not meet at all.

On Friday we will continue with our new unit focused on argument.
