American Literature for Nov. 14-18

Here's what to expect in our class this week:
We will spend the week wrapping up Romanticism, so expect an assessment over it by the end of the week. As part of our discussion of Romanticism, we will watch Robin Williams' great film Dead Poets Society, focusing on how the characters in the movie do and do not related to Romanticism.
When we return from our Thanksgiving break, it will be time for our EOC in American Literature, with the state's test being given on Tuesday through Thursday, November 29, 30 and December 1. We will complete various activities this week in preparation for the EOC, including practice online via USA Test Prep. Students may also use this resource at home and will be given a password to access the site.
