Here's a look at what we'll be doing in class this week:

Two Reminders: If you haven't turned in your novel project and S.A.R. (summary, analysis, and reflection), it's late. Get it to us as soon as possible to maximize your grade.

Argument article analyses and your argument essays are due on Tuesday. Be sure to turn them in.

Vocabulary: Vocabulary is back as we resume with unit 6. Please follow our usual schedule for vocabulary homework:

Monday--Choosing the Right Word

Tuesday--Synonyms and Antonyms

Wednesday--Completing the Sentence

Thursday--Study for Friday's vocabulary quiz.

Of Mice and Men

We will begin reading, discussing, and writing about John Steinbeck's novel Of Mice and Men on Monday. You may be asked to read some for homework, so we will assign you a copy of the book.
