Here's what we'll be doing in class this week:
We will wrap up the Anglo-Saxon unit on Monday and Tuesday, completing a variety of stations and centers related to the Anglo-Saxons and Beowulf.
We will have an in-class assessment over the Anglo-Saxon era on Wednesday. A review guide is attached below.
You will also begin work on an out-0f-class essay related to Beowulf.
As we transition to our unit over the Middle Ages and its literature, students will collaborate to research and present on a variety of topics related to the medieval era in Britain.
Vocabulary: We will work with unit 3 in the vocabulary books this week, introducing new words on Monday. Please complete homework according to the usual schedule:
Monday--Choosing the Right Word
Tuesday--Synonyms and Antonyms
Wednesday--Completing the Sentence
Thursday--Prepare for Friday's vocabulary quiz
