Alternative Vocabulary Assessment for Unit Four:

• • Write a narrative—a story—using this week’s vocabulary.

  • Use at least ten words from this week’s words.

  • Words must be used correctly (pay attention to parts of speech)

  • Use past unit’s words or extra words from this week for bonus points (one extra point each)

  • Underline each vocabulary word you use.

  • At the end of the story, write a sentence that describes the tone of your story (use tone word list if needed)

  • Draw a picture to go with your story.
