Here's a quick overview of the coming week:
D.E.A.R. Reading and Projects: Please remember that your Summary, Analysis, and Reflection (S.A.R.) report is due on Friday of this week, along with whatever project option you choose to complete. I'm attaching the assignment sheet on this page.
Controversial Topics Argument Analysis and Research: We will continue to work in class on analyzing your articles and completing your argument paper through Wednesday of this week.
Of Mice and Men: On Thursday we will introduce John Steinbeck's classic novel, starting with stations that focus on the Great Depression, the setting of the book. We will then spend the next week-plus reading, discussing, and writing about the book. We'll post several links related to Of Mice and Men here later in the week, including an e-text of the book and a link to audio of the novel.
