Here is a quick overview of the coming week:
***Our syllabus and expectations for the semester are attached below.***
-On Monday, we will discuss the curriculum and expectations for the coming semester and then begin a few routines we will follow throughout most of the term, including vocabulary and multiple choice practice.
-The "summer reading" assessment for A Thousand Splendid Suns is on Tuesday. It will consist of identification items and a few quotations from the novel.
-On Wednesday we will begin some activities related to A Thousand Splendid Suns and will begin another routine: timed writings. On Wednesdays, we will typically write on a new topic or do something with a piece you have already written.
Thursday and Friday we will continue activities related to A Thousand Splendid Suns. You will also have your first vocabulary quiz on Friday.
Pride and Prejudice: Our assessment over the novel will be next Wednesday, January 15.
