Middle Ages Research: We will continue researching information regarding a variety of topics on Monday and (most likely) Tuesday as we prepare to begin presenting on Wednesday. Groups were assigned a presentation time on Friday, and should be ready to go on their appointed day.

The Year of Three Kings/The Death of Brave King Harold

Please be sure to complete this assigned reading and to view the pages of the Bayeux Tapestry by class time on Wednesday. See a separate post on this page for the Bayeux Tapestry links. I handed out the reading selection and the reading guide in class on Friday, Aug. 26.

The Canterbury Tales

We will begin reading selections from Geoffrey Chaucer's Canterbury Tales later in the week, including the General Prologue, "The Wife of Bath's Tale," and "The Pardoner's Tale." I will post the necessary links or handouts to this page later in the week when the reading is assigned.
