• • We will introduce our first vocabulary unit from the Sadlier-Oxford Vocabulary Workshop book on Monday. Please complete the assignments in the book as described below:

Monday--Choosing the Right Word

Tuesday--Synonyms and Antonyms

Wednesday--Completing the Sentence

Thursday--Review for Friday's vocabulary quiz

We will spend a little time this week defining the American Dream--the over-arching theme for our class--and complete centers related to various aspects of the American Dream.

We will also complete research and brief presentations related to the Puritans and The Crucible before we begin reading it and discussing it.
