Post date: Nov 06, 2017 2:10:39 AM

Here's a quick overview of the coming week: We will start a new unit this week, focused on the pursuit of happiness, connecting it to John Steinbeck's classic novel, Of Mice and Men. We will read some of the book together in class, but you should also expect to read some independently and for homework. I've added a link to the full text of the book below. I am also attaching several various reading activities we will complete for the novel.

Of Mice and Men text: http://www.alanreinstein.com/site/213_Of_Mice_and_Men_files/OMM.Full.Text%281%29.pdf

Georgia Milestones EOC: Our EOC is fast approaching, with students taking this state-mandated test on Wednesday through Friday, November 30 and December 1 and 2. Over the next two weeks, we will review skills and knowledge that should be useful on the EOC. This Thursday we will have computers in class for work in USA Test Prep.

The Crucible Essay: Many of you did not turn in your essays last week. If you haven't, be sure to finish it and email it to Ms. Jordan. Here is her email again in case you need it:
