Vocabulary: We will continue our work in the Sadlier-Oxford Vocabulary Workshop books this week, focusing on unit four's words. Please follow our usual routine for completing vocabulary activities.

Monday--Choosing the Right Word (aka "Circly Word")

Tuesday--Synonyms and Antonyms

Wednesday--Completing the Sentence

Thursday--Finish writing the vocabulary story to submit on Friday. We'll give you more

information in class by Wednesday.

The Crucible: We will continue to read, discuss, and view Arthur Miller's play The Crucible throughout the week, focusing on character development and how Miller uses a variety of figurative language techniques to develop character, mood, and tone.

The play itself is attached below, as well as the reading guides for acts II and III.
