Honors Brit. Lit. for Nov. 16-20

Here's what we are doing this week in Honors British Literature:

• • On Monday, we will wrap up all the loose ends of Hamlet, with students leading a discussion of key issues from the final scene.

  • On Tuesday, we will have our test over Hamlet.

  • On Wednesday, we will visit the media center to begin work on research papers; we will also introduce Wuthering Heights, and you will have your first reading assignment. I will give you additional information about both the research paper and resources for it, as well as the reading schedule and a reading guide for Wuthering Heights.

  • On Thursday, we will delve into discussion of Wuthering Heights via a partnered discussion activity.

  • On Friday, we will return to the media center to work on Hamlet research papers.

***Once we begin reading Wuthering Heights, you should expect reading check quizzes, just to be sure.***

You may have noticed there is not mention of vocabulary this week; we will not have it this week and may be done for the semester.
